Mitzela is a privately owned estate, unique in Europe as an oasis of luxury in the midst of the Greek wilderness, set in its own grounds surrounded by 15,000 acres of deciduous forest.
2 secluded villas, with spectacular views along the Pelion coastline you can relax and enjoy the 5 star service and cuisine of this luxury retreat .
Mitzela is 10 miles north of Damouhari, used in the movie Mamma Mia as Kalokairi harbour.
There are two traditional Greek Villas some 300m apart, which in total accommodate 12-14 guests. Barba Yanni is the upper villa and Agia Paraskevi is the lower villa. There are swimming pools at both houses and a tennis court at the upper villa.
The property is fully staffed to include onsite manager, chef, chef's assistant, maid and laundry service so you can enjoy the comforts of a hotel with the privacy and feel of your own home at these two luxury villas.
The Chef prides himself on the fact that as far as possible the fruit, vegetables and salad are produced in our own orchards and garden around the houses. All meals are included as well as local wine and beer. The cuisine has an origin from Greece but with a modern European influence from Italy and France.
Activities include boat trips, swimming, snorkelling, sailing, mountain biking, forest walks, beach picnics and tennis; it is also an ideal setting for yoga and pilates. Other facilities include Sky TV, Internet access, DVD, CD, VHS Video, table tennis and other indoor and outdoor games.
Although only 15 miles in a straight line from Volos the eastern slopes of Mt Pelion provide a cool haven in the summer from the heat of central Greece.
Be it a family holiday, friend’s reunion, or yoga retreat Mitzela offers an unspoilt costal location with the tranquillity, privacy and seclusion that is almost impossible to find in Europe today.
